I love my new pool! I would absolutely recommend Texas Pools & Patios to anyone looking to build a pool! This is the second pool I’ve had built and hands down….these guys are the best in my opinion! JC is a fantastic PM/Super and he made the process smooth. I had drainage issues in my backyard and they came up with creative and beautiful ways to integrate a wonderful design that I just love. Also, I have one big oak tree that I wanted to save so they modified the layout to accomplish that as well. My yard is very small so this was no easy task….but they did it and I cannot wait to begin making memories with my family in my new pool! Thanks guys! Y’all are the BEST!

It was time to resurface our original previous pool builder pool. After several estimates and research I settled on Texas Pools and Patio. The process was fairly straight forward and simple and the best part was working with my fabulous project manager, Miguel. He was on sight everyday when expected. His communication was outstanding and he worked with me on the placement of step and shelf tiles. He actually stayed on site while the crews both chipped out the old plaster and then did the new plaster which I upgraded to a mini pebble and the process was very tedious. I was super impressed with the crews that did the chip out and also the new pebble plaster. When it was all finished, a little over a week later, the whole area looked like a brand new pool. Miguel was amazing, watching every little step to make sure it was just right. His work ethic is one that you respect highly when you want something done with expertise. If you go with TPP in San Antonio ask for Miguel as your project manager and you will get the best! I would post a picture but this doesn’t give me the option to add a photo.

From the shovel till pumps on it only took six weeks for our pool to be completed.  This was orchestrated by Mr. John Flores acting as a conductor for a Symphony bringing all the music together.  First came the layout team consisting of Mr. Flores, Mr. Clay (sales manager) and others to outline the pool.  Next, Mr. Flores called upon the excavation team who acted promptly to complete their work, next up, rebar team, then came the plumbers and the electricians and then the Gunite (cement) team, next the tile and plaster teams and finally the acid wash team.  During the entire process Mr. Flores (foreman), Cassie (office scheduling and administrative staff, Holley (Office Manager) along with Ryan provided us with courteous and professional answers to our many various questions.  The final step in this process was the Pool School conducted my Mr. Clayton Davis who explained in great detail how, when and why the pool equipment does what it does.  Again, in only six weeks we were in the water enjoying our pool, especially the spa.  I am confident based on their past performance if any questions or issues arise they will promptly assist.  In today’s world many people do their jobs, however, then, there are those that go above and beyond providing their services.  In the case of those people mentioned above, I gladly place them in the ABOVE AND BEYOND CATEGORY.

When we first started this process we were unsure of the direction and wanted to take full advantage of how the design would fit in our yard. Clint A (our sales rep) definitely made us feel comfortable and always made himself available through out the process. His positive vibes and professionalism is a result of his personality and he is a class act individual. You will not be disappointed with Clint as your sales rep.

Through out the build process our Project Manager Arnold was on fire! Always on task, communication skills on point, and made things flow effortlessly. He kept the wheels in motion and never missed a beat. Project Management at its finest!

Great job. Once construction began there were only a couple of hiccups, but they were quickly resolved. Total time was less than we anticipated, and all phases were professionally completed. Kudos to manager Neill Sharron who kept us in the loop regarding any delays or following up with the workers, making sure we were happy with every phase. If you want/need an individual to respect your budget and tell you exactly what you need and don’t need, look no further. My wife & I selected William and Texas Pools & Patios for our new pool construction, after our initial meeting and subsequent design consultation. (We interviewed 4 companies, and were stood up by another twice.) William listened to what we were looking for in a pool and he revealed that in his design. William and his team at TP&P were always professional, yet personable and easy to work with throughout the building process. They all did a great job communicating and guiding expectations through the entire construction process. Example, it may have taken 60 days to build a pool a decade ago before the construction boom and labor and material shortages of 2021, but today’s world it can take a little longer. So we immediately knew this wasn’t going to be a fast process, but they still finished our pool sooner than many of our neighbors who had projects with other companies. The quality of construction is good and we are very happy to have our new pool to share with family and friends. William and his team were timely on follow ups and communicated if there was a delay. Communication was continuous and expectations were set early on, the Texas Pools and Patios team exceeded our expectations.

I can’t speak for the rest of the designers at TP&P but I’m so glad we went with this company and especially Michael and Tina. I was almost against building a pool because a yard was destroyed by another pool company in our neighborhood but that was not the case with these guys. Michael told the bobcat driver (who was amazing also) one way in and one way out and that’s exactly how it went down. They didn’t even have to take my neighbors fence down. Tina did a great job designing our pool, keeping it in budget and taking the time to answer all of our questions but I have to say getting to know Michael has been a pleasure. He is very much on top of everything and has exceeded my expectations. Although the pool is not yet finished, it’s way ahead of schedule and everything so far is amazing. My neighbor and I were talking the other night about how efficient these guys have been and the awesome rock work Michael’s crews have created. Needless to say, I will recommend Michael and Tina to everyone I ever talk to about a pool. I’ll post pics when it’s finished.

We are very satisfied with our beautiful, modern pool built by Texas Pools and Patios. We gave 4 stars out of 5 due to some scheduling issues. To be fair, there were scheduling issues due to Covid, the February winter storm, and the record May rains that were beyond anyone’s control.

Tina’s pool design is functional, thoughtful, and aesthetic. Michael kept us up-to-date as best he could and wisely advised a different surrounding stone for our pool which we’re much happier with. David and Brandy continue to support us from the service and warranty side.

My friend owns a pool and maintained gym pools for over a decade. It’s a high compliment when he said that Texas Pools and Patios did a great job.

Texas Pools and Patios built me a magazine / designer worthy backyard oasis. A giant free form pool with a hand made with real rock 6 foot tall grotto with slide and amazing outdoor seating area. If you are looking for pool people to build your outdoor oasis, these are the guys. Can’t recommend them enough. Make sure you ask for Clint A when booking your sales appointment he is the best. TP&P is very lucky to have some exceptional people working at their company. I was compelled to follow-up on my previous high marks after our project foreman, Robert, went way above and beyond to fix multiple post-freeze issues that completely shut down our beautiful new pool. The loss of power for almost a full week literally transformed our pool into an ice rink, while the expanding ice in our pipes and equipment took its toll.

Despite TP&P’s dramatic volume of repair calls after the recent historic winter storm, Robert came out to our house personally to inspect the damage, then within days, he and his team were on site. Within another couple of days, Robert had our pool up and running, even while we’re awaiting a replacement for our cracked UV system.

I also wanted to mention that we were very lucky to have Michael & Tina as our TP&P sales pros. They maintained great communication throughout and the few minor issues that came up were handled with care and efficiency. They actually took the time to personally come by our home often, ensuring everything was going smoothly and that we were happy and our expectations were being met.

In closing, I just want to again give my sincere thanks to Robert for rescuing and resuscitating our beautiful TP&P pool after such a stressful winter weather ordeal.

We moved into a new home recently and decided we wanted to expand our outdoor stone patio for more entertainment space so we called around for companies to give us a quote. Andy came by and we discussed what we had in mind and after Andy listened to our thoughts, he made very good recommendations as to our current set up versus our original thoughts and we decided that his suggestions made more sense. Once we got Andy’s quote, we agreed to proceed with Texas Pools & Patios to do the work. Not only did they accomplish the work on time, but everyday of the construction there was a supervisor here at least twice a day to be sure all was being done and done right. The extended patio is now complete, looks great and most importantly, they matched the stone we had along with the layout so it will be hard to tell that this is an addition. Some communication problems in the beginning but a call to one of the owners ironed that out quick . since then it has been all good. Kevin ” the foreman ” has done great and Jason the pool school guy is very informative. we were living out of town when the pool was built so we did not have to deal with the noise and mess but it is better to be present during construction so if there are any changes or modifications it would be made easier. make sure you put the pumps and motors away from the back of the house and closer to the street as we did to minimize the noise. it’s not loud but consistent when running. install your pool during the winter or early spring as it may take longer than expected and it is hard to look at the inviting water knowing you cant jump in yet. when the water temp is 70 you ain’t going in believe me ! it takes awhile to balance the water so you wouldn’t want to get in anyway. overall I would recommend t p & p. Jay We are thrilled with our pool building experience with TPP! The design is beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better crew. The process has been very smooth thanks to Kevin keeping us informed along the way. The guys that did the rock work are truly artists. We now have a beautiful pool and it is all thanks to Kevin and TPP! We talked with 5 other pool builders before choosing TPP and couldn’t be happier. Thank you TPP!!!

My wife and I decided to build a pool during the summer of 2012. We didn’t anticipate starting until the Fall/Winter, so we had a lot of time to be patient and select the right pool builder for us. During the process we received full bids from 6 pool builders in the Austin/Cedar Park region. Some were small builders, and some were larger operations. At the end of the process, we had no doubts that we were going with Texas Pools and Patios. There were a couple main reasons:
They had a facility that we could go to and look at different components like the deck overlay, the rock, and other components.
The designer from TPP, Neal, had an excellent vision, even though we were so specific that we provided most of the requirements.
Reputation, they have done many pools in Lakeway, and a close friend had 3 neighbors that all had very good experiences.
Once you sign your contract, the main point of contact during a pool building process is your project manager. We were assigned Kevin De Los Santos. I cannot speak highly enough about Kevin and the job he did for us and Texas Pools and Patios. If you have any detailed questions, Kevin and TPP have me as a reference, you can reference the Rock Waterfall, Blue Pebble Bottom Pool in Cedar Park, and I’m sure they would provide our information as a reference. We built, from what I would describe, a very complex pool. It has significant rock work, a waterfall with 3 spill pools, a jumping rock, a spa spillway of moss rock, dry stack rock, and Wet Edge Antigua Satin Matrix. We also put in two variable speed pumps, and wireless controllers, LED lights and put in TPP Acrylic Overlay deck. Our pool, almost down to the rock, is exactly as we pictured going into this process. I will not say that there were not issues, because we ran into a couple things we did not like. As soon as we talked to Kevin, every single one was corrected. Most of them were just personal opinions, like where we wanted a step, and we didn’t get push back a single time. One of Kevin’s leads on the rock work, Martin, is a patient, artistic mason. He did absolutely fantastic work. One item we can’t comment on is timing. We deliberately built over the winter so that we wouldn’t be in a big hurry, pushing to get things done. I work from home, and my wife is a stay at home mother, so we were both able to see every step of the process. I’m sure that was a nightmare for TPP and Kevin, but we requested they wait for phases for us to get home from things, so the process took a little longer than normal for them. Plus, we built our pool through the Christmas Holiday, which we anticipated it would take some time. With the Holiday, we ran into big delays with Cedar Park inspections, understandable, but still slowed the process down. Even with that, plus the fact that we live next to a rock quarry in Cedar Park, which took more than two weeks of jack hammering to dig our extra deep pool, we still finished in about 90 days total. There were a couple things I will point out: TP&P did everything we agreed to without question.
If the designer doesn’t fit, request someone different. Ours did, but I can tell you that the designer is a big part of your choice, and if the one you’re dealing with isn’t right, I’m sure TP&P will set you up with someone that fits.
Kevin and his team had extensive experience, and I felt overly confident about every detail through the entire process.
There were additions that we hadn’t envisioned (Kevin walked us through different low voltage exterior lighting) and it makes our pool a real masterpiece at night, I mean Wow.
Turn up, we’ve already met Jason with TP&P as the turn up man, and the poor guy stayed late on a Friday walking us through things, he went well above and beyond, and we just met him. Overall, I will tell you that if you are looking to build a pool in the Austin area, or Cedar Park like us, I recommend Texas Pools and Patios, as highly as I can. Cost is a big issue, and that was a big consideration for us, but I would absolutely balance that with the piece of mind, and confidence in the builder, you’re making a significant investment, and TPP earned our trust completely.
